This Privacy Policy explains what information EuroRail Times ("we", "us", the "Site" at eurorailtimes.com) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are committed to handling your data lawfully and transparently, including under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
EuroRail Times is an independent rail information publication operated from Türkiye. For any privacy question or data request, contact legal@eurorailtimes.com.
We and selected third parties use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
Where required by law, we request your consent for non-essential (analytics and affiliate) cookies through a consent banner, and you can withdraw consent at any time via your browser settings or the banner controls.
We do not currently display third-party display advertising (including Google AdSense) on EuroRail Times. Our focus is timetable information and booking referrals. If display advertising is re-enabled in the future, this policy will be updated and consent controls will cover advertising cookies.
We use Google Analytics to understand site usage. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data such as your IP address and interactions. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Some links on this site are affiliate links (for example All Aboard for train tickets, accommodation partners via Stay22, and travel partners via the Travelpayouts network such as Aviasales, WayAway and Kiwi.com). When you click these, the partner may set a cookie to attribute a resulting booking to us, and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
When you click through to book, you leave EuroRail Times and any personal or payment details you enter are handled by that third party under their own privacy policy. We do not receive or store your payment information.
We rely on: your consent for non-essential cookies and analytics; our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the site; and, where relevant, compliance with legal obligations.
Some of our providers (such as Google) are based outside the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Email enquiries are kept no longer than necessary and typically deleted within 12 months. Analytics data is retained according to our provider's settings and then aggregated or deleted. We do not sell your personal data.
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise your rights, email legal@eurorailtimes.com; we aim to respond within 30 days.
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
