Madrid Puerta de Atocha (often shortened to Atocha) is Spain's principal high-speed terminus for Renfe AVE, Avlo, and competing high-speed operators toward Barcelona, Seville, Valencia, and Andalusia. The historic trainshed includes the famous indoor tropical garden.

Do not confuse Atocha with Madrid Chamartín-Clara Campoamor, which handles many northern high-speed and long-distance services. Always match the station on your ticket.
