- <strong>With an Interrail/Eurail pass:</strong> You still need a berth reservation. Couchette reservation with pass is typically €9–€29 (vs €49–€99 without). Book reservations at oebb.at as soon as possible — pass-quota berths are limited.

- Couchette compartments are shared — you'll sleep alongside strangers in the same gender-neutral space (some routes offer gender-specific booking).
- Bedding (pillow, blanket, sheet) is always included in couchette and sleeper prices.
- There is a bistro/dining car on most routes for late-night snacks and drinks.
- Sleeper cabins include breakfast delivered to your door on most ÖBB routes.
