🚉 About Barcelona Sants

Barcelona Sants is the city's main long-distance and high-speed station for Renfe AVE, Avlo, Euromed, and many regional Rodalies services. International and Spanish high-speed trains toward Madrid, Valencia, and France typically use Sants — not Estació de França.

The station is partly underground. Follow AVE / Larga Distancia signs to the correct concourse and allow time for security checks on some high-speed departures.

  • Aerobus / metro to BCN airport: Airport access via metro L9 / Aerobus combinations from city nodes — budget transfer time.
